Jacob’s Pickles in New York City is a southern comfort food restaurant on the Upper West Side in Manhattan, New York. We ordered a couple of dishes and had a really great time, aside from how cramped and warm the inside of the restaurant is.

Brunch

The French Toast!

We ordered the fried pickles & chile okra as apps. Anytime you’re at Jacob’s Pickles, you should get an order of the friend pickles.

Croque Madame!

Next, we ordered the french toast, croque madame, & the biscuits and gravy. Everyone loved what they ordered, but the french toast was definitely the best. I highly recommend it if you like sweet dishes!

The service was pretty fast. They have a wide selection of foods, including drinks for brunch (we ordered the classic mimosas & bloody mary’s for brunch). I’ve never been for any other meal besides brunch so I can’t speak to every menu. However, this restaurant is best for small group brunches if you don’t want a wait like somewhere more downtown.
